The New Mexico Engineering Foundation (NMEF) conducts and supports educational programs in engineering; grants scholarships; fosters the profession of engineering through the dissemination of educational information in all its forms and serves as a catalyst for the advancement of engineering education. NMEF achieves those goals through cooperative efforts among the engineering profession, engineering societies, secondary schools and the engineering and engineering technology colleges.
What we do?
NMEF offers individual engineers and businesses the opportunity to support the engineering profession in a tangible way through gifts to the scholarship funds and financial support to math, science and engineering programs. As a 501(c) (3), non-profit educational foundation all gifts to scholarships are tax deductible.
In 2015, over $25,000 of scholarships were provided for deserving students pursuing degrees in engineering and science at New Mexico Universities and for New Mexico High School seniors seeking engineering degrees at an accredited program in the United States.
